Slurpy Soup

Soup of not getting the attention it deserves. In fact, many of us do not think at all of the soup. However, slurpy soup served before the main course helps fill. Over time, this can reduce your grocery bills, because members of the family eats less. If you serve a big bowl of tomato soup, for example, you can serve a small hamburger.

Notice I said "slurpy soup." This does not include expensive cream soup, and lobster bisque. Grocery stores carry hundreds of types of soup, but tend to be high in salt. They may also contain additives that do not want to eat. When you make homemade soup can control the salt and other ingredients.

"Cookbook fast and fabulous" Weight Watchers has an extensive section on the soup. "Clear soups can also form the basis of a soup," he explains. "To make a filling and delicious soup, simply add the barley, beef or chicken, pasta or rice with bouillon simple."

According to Weight Watchers, high quality ingredients are the key to delicious soup. While leftovers add flavor to the soup, a soup based entirely on the remains will not be as tasty. Soup is a food that tastes better the next day. But be careful not to freeze the soup thickened with flour, Weight Watchers precautions, because the ingredients may separate when heated. Read More

It should be noted that cream soups made with vegetables and mashed roasted like pumpkin, tomatoes and mushrooms, soups and seafood bisque is not considered technically despite the general assignment of these soups. Fish soup containing chunks of ingredients, whereas biscuit has a smooth texture with any of the pieces.

The term "soup" is often seen as derived from the Bay of Biscay, an area known for its copious amounts of seafood. However, this etymology is not widely accepted in culinary circles.

Instead, the term comes from the doubt "cuites bis" meaning twice cooked. This is in reference to the actual process of preparing seafood bisque of all kinds - first, the seafood saute lightly while in their shells and, secondly, simmer the seafood with other ingredients , drain and add the cream.
