Guy Fieri with a young fan at the Great American Food & Music Fest, the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mt. View CA, June 13, 2009
I received an email from Elise Thompson, photographer for the LAist, who is thankfully willing to share some of her photographs for this blog. She said,
"It was an unusually hot day and the lines were long, so people were getting hungry and restless. But when Guy Fieri took the stage, he emitted so much positive energy that he put the crowd into a good mood. He did a lot of physical comedy interacting with the audience, pretending to squirt people with the olive oil and teasing kids.Read her LAist Post and watch for an additional report on the event from her at www.kikimaraschino.blogspot.com.
Many people mentioned that his presentation was the "feel-good" moment in an otherwise difficult day."
