DDD picks up more locations in Connecticut

Film crews for Diners, Drive-ins and Dives were sighted in Manchester, CT (near Hartford) last week and are set to tape at restaurants in and around Bridgeport, CT this week.

So far, the Merritt Canteen, a beloved Bridgeport dive since 1942, has been listed as a potential stop for Guy Fieri and his Food Network show.

It appears that the Merritt Canteen will be one of the new "viewers choice" segments, an un-hosted, 4th featured restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Guy Fieri is taping Triple D and "Tailgate Warriors" in New Orleans, LA this week, 9/7/10 through the weekend.
