It's off to Super Bowl for Guy Fieri

It's Super Bowl all weekend for Guy Fieri.

Super Bowl warm-ups started with a Guy Fieri interview on Southern Sports Now, WSPO Sports, Charleston's Sports Leader, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010.

Guy gave advice on Super Bowl foods with tips on pasta, Super Bowl party no-no's, suggestions for chicken wings and a secret recipe for jambalaya - peppers and onions, chopped p0rk, chicken thighs, sausage, seasonings, then add rice and water and let it cook down.

And for the seafood lover, Guy Fieri suggests shrimp or some flour-cornmeal-Panko-dredged, beer and mustard-battered fried fish fillets.

Guy Fieri's prediction for the Super Bowl XLIV? All due respect to the Saints, Guy's calling the "Colts, 33-23, all about the 2nd half, a lot of air, gonna be a monster game."

Guy Fieri flew out from SFO to south Florida on Thursday the 4th.

Unrelated to Super Bowl (but I'm sure the topic will come up), on Friday the 5th, Guy Fieri is scheduled to do an interview with KISS107 (website), based in Cincinnati, OH. Air time 8:01 a.m., local time.

On Saturday, February 6, 2010, Guy WAS scheduled to play flag football at DirecTV's Celebrity Beach Bowl Game, but now he isn't listed as one of the players (here). According to theDTV, Guy Fieri is out. Bummer!

However, on Saturday night, Guy Fieri is a-twitter about co-hosting an NFL party on Saturday night with Michael Strahan. It is hard to keep track of this man! Haha.

Then on Sunday the 7th, Guy will be cooking some signature recipes, “perfect tailgate food," for the Super Bowl Today pre-game broadcast crew on CBS, all courtesy of Ritz Crackers (website).

Oh, and if you're a fan of SuperBowl commercials, they'll all be available to view on demand at www.cbssports.com, immediately after the broadcast of the game. Cool, huh!
