Enjoy Soups - Ham and Split Pea Soup

There are many ways to prepare this soup and you can use green peas or yellow, depending on what you prefer, or that you have in your pantry. Personally I prefer the greens and yellows use for beans, a bathroom and not like hummus. You can leave thick soup or puree until thick and smooth, but it is entirely up to you. I would add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds, which have been dry fried to enhance their flavor and a dry red chile, but do not have to use these things. If you want a spicy soup than usual, use a teaspoon of coriander seeds and cumin seeds two, dry fry for a minute or two until fragrant and add to soup when you add the water. The red pepper, crumbled dried can also be added at this time. This recipe for green soup is traditional split pea with ham. I hope you like it.
